Ad Hominem Attacks

By now you know that ad hominem attacks (name-calling) are fallacious and cannot be used in rational debate.
What examples of name-calling are you aware of in the discourse around you? (in "discourse"I include radio and television, entertainment, church, work, etc.)
Examples
I have heard people make the claim that George W. Bush is "stupid" or "of low intelligence" in spite of the fact that he is qualified to pilot a jet plane.
I have heard those who favor withdrawing American force from Iraq called "surrender monkeys."
I have heard that the New York Yankees are bums.

I quoted Richard Dawkins in an essay I did for English were he said anyone who doesn't believe evolution is a fact is either "stupid, insane or wicked" I read letters posted online were Creationists have been called liars, little maggots, and even when they challenged The New Atheism convention to a debate, they said no and one of the speakers they contacted replied with a picture of Jesus putting up the middle finger.
"Legal form of insanity" is another one I heard for belief in God too. That's really most of what the new atheism movement is, an obsessive hatred for religion and having a talent for name calling.
